1. Don’t diet. Diets never work, because of their restrictive and temporary nature. Once you’re off 2336851012_fd0fca3751.jpgthe diet you tend to gain weight again. Aim for gradual change, something you can sustain for a long period. Consider a smaller or different change in your Diet instead of temporary ones.

2. Change one food at a time. As a corollary to the above point, just change one thing in your diet, and get used to it. For example, instead of drinking a can of Cola, try drinking low sugar Tea or Coffee. Carry out the change for about a month and then, when you get used to that, change another food. Do not try to change the whole of your Diet overnight.

3. Eat vegetarian food one day a week. It’ll reduce the calories and also increase the fiber and nutrients you intake.

4. Eat ‘good’ snacks. Have your home stocked with snaks like fruits, crackers,Nuts, veggies et al.Try take it on the road, and have it available at work.

5. Atkins Diet. Atkins diet, alongwith with being unsustainable in the long term, literally makes you sick .

6. Juice is not good. Juice is fruit, but with all the fiber removed. It is ’sugary’ Fruit. Eat fruit instead.

7. Avoid Milk products. Mayonnaise is filled with fat. So is butter, and cream cheese and eggs and cream … find healthier replacements.

8. Eat Nuts . Nuts are great sources of good oils and proteins. Avoid the salty ones though. Raw almonds are also great.

9. Baked, not fried. Less fatty, and still tastes great.

10. Olives are very healthy. Olives contain healthy fats instead of the saturated fats. Use Olive oil to cook your food. add it on top of Salads and Fruits.
